Library partnership with Germanna results in opening of new location at Fried Center on August 20
Fredericksburg, Virginia, August 15, 2018 - A new location of the Central Rappahannock Regional Library (CRRL) will open at Germanna Community College's Barbara J. Fried Center, 124 Old Potomac Church Road, Stafford, VA, 22554, on Monday, August 20.

This new location is made possible due to generous support from the Stafford County Board of Supervisors and in partnership with Germanna Community College.

"The Central Rappahannock Regional Library is very excited to offer our tenth location to serve everyone in the community, and especially the students from Germanna Community College who will use this location. Our new partnership with GCC will continue to grow as we expand services to the Stafford region," states CRRL Director Martha Hutzel.

The Joint Use Branch will offer the following services:

  • Computers & wifi
  • Holds pick-up & material returns
  • Grow a Reader classes
  • Books, DVDs, audiobooks
  • Scanning, copying, printing, faxing
  • Access to CRRL's online, downloadable, and streaming services
  • Notary services

Additionally, a drive-up book drop will be available shortly after opening.

Beginning August 20, hours for the Joint Use Branch are:

  • Monday 4:00-8:00 p.m.
  • Tuesday 4:00-8:00 p.m.
  • Wednesday 4:00-8:00 p.m.
  • Thursday 4:00-8:00 p.m.
  • Friday closed
  • Saturday 9:00-5:00 p.m.
  • Sunday closed

Germanna Community College staff will offer library services from 10:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. Monday-Thursday.
