Library Presents " Community Conversations: Civic Engagement " Tuesday, May 7 and Monday, May 20
Fredericksburg, Virginia, April 23, 2019 - Central Rappahannock Regional Library (CRRL) is hosting Community Conversations: Civic Engagement, a series for the public to connect with local leaders committed to voter engagement, volunteerism and cultivating community. In partnership with The League of Women Voters of the Fredericksburg Area.

Panelists will present topics of importance to the region and provide a platform for open exchange of ideas and collaborative solutions to community issues.

  • Meaghan Sekinger, Communications Director (League of Women Voters of the Fredericksburg Area)
  • Deputy Rich Vasquez, Crime Prevention Unit (Spotsylvania County Sheriff's Office)
  • LaToya Brown, Agency & Programs Coordinator (Fredericksburg Regional Food Bank) 
  • Kathryn Palmer, Community Impact Senior Manager (Rappahannock United Way) 
  • Stephanie Lyles, Director of Community Relations/Lisa Wescoat, Executive Director of Marketing (NSWC Federal Credit Union)
  • Kellie Acors, Director of Elections & General Registrar (Spotsylvania County). The registrar will offer voter registration.
