(September 16, 2023)- On October 14, 2023 at approximately 11:38p.m., the Cape Coral Police Department was dispatched to the 4600 block of Southeast 1st St, Cape Coral, Lee County, Florida in reference to a burglary.
It was reported that four juveniles were seen trying to enter a new construction home. The calling party stated they tried to smash a window on the left side of the home.
Officers arrived on scene and saw four juveniles running from the house in question. Officers found and detained the following three juveniles: Logan Termecz (W/M, DOB 12-29-09), Dario Santurio (W/M, DOB 06-04-08) and Giuliano Lianza (W/M, DOB 11-5-09).
The investigation revealed that the juveniles threw a rock at the residence, trying to break in and throw a party. Once the window was broken, a neighbor reportedly yelled at the juveniles. Officer simultaneously showed up on scene and the juveniles decided to run. The juveniles did not enter the house.
It was determined that the juvenile’s actions were furtive and sneaky when attempting to break into the house, with the intent to remain in the structure uninvited and throw a party. Officers found a large rock near the broken window. The juveniles had damaged the window, which cost approximately $3,000.
The juveniles had allegedly found an unlocked door at the residence a few nights prior and planned a party. However, when they returned to the residence, all points of entry were secured.
Logan Termecz’s backpack contained a red and black ski mask, 2 pairs of cloth gloves, a multi tool, allen wrenches, a wrench, pocket knife, black tape, 4 mini shooters of Parrot Bay liquor, an Advil bottle with a green leafy substance, tobacco, a lighter, and rubber cement.
All three juveniles were transported to the Juvenile Assessment Center.
