Holy Week
The Episcopal Churches of West Missouri provide lots of possibilities for reflection and prayer during Holy Week (March 29 - April 3).

Holy Week at Grace and Holy Trinity Cathedral

For the people of West Missouri, especially those whose churches are not meeting in person and cannot share services online, we are featuring a series of Holy Week services from Grace and Holy Trinity Cathedral. On the Tuesday in Holy Week, we join together with the dioceses of Missouri, Kansas, Western Kansas, and the ELCA Central States Synod in a renewal of Ordinational and Baptismal Vows. This year's Easter Vigil will include contributions from people around the diocese.

Holy Week at Home
Six-minute read.
In any other year, we would all be saying, “Go to church, experience all Holy Week has to offer!" This year, attending in person will not be an option for everyone. Still, we can incorporate the rhythm and customs, the experience and blessings, into Holy Week at home.

Some tips for engaging in healthy comparisons in your life
Two-minute read.
A direct comparison with Jesus would be unhelpful for obvious reasons, but hope is found in thinking, “I like the way Jesus walked the talk.” In this way comparison is healthy.

Photo and video release resources for churches to use
Two-minute read.
As many churches consider a return to in-person worship with livestreaming, it’s an appropriate time to plan for how you will tell people that you may video or photograph them. You will also need to let them know that you may use their images on social media, newsletters, and promotional materials.
