Be a Rural Ministry Ambassador

If you are looking for a new way to serve in Christ’s Church, we invite you to consider becoming a Rural Ministry Ambassador. If you have a heart for the rural church, we invite you to prayerfully consider contacting us. The Rural Ministry Network is in formation stage (ruralministrynetwork.org) and we welcome your gifts. A training meeting will be held on October 12 at Community CC in Jefferson City. Learn more>

Children's Ministries in Lathrop

This fall FCC in Lathrop began their fourth year of Toddler-Time and their third year of Kids For Christ (KFC), the after school club that takes place in the elementary school. Toddler-Time had twenty-two little ones and KFC had nine. These programs have brought a lot of energy, excitement, and hope to the congregation! Many of the participants do not have a church they call home, but "we can provide a connection for them," says Pastor Scott Archdekin. He goes on to explain that, "as our town does not have a library, Toddler-Time fills a need in the community for early education with a story time, singing, games, crafts, and snacks once a week."

Join Us Online Monday

All are invited and encouraged to join Associate Regional Ministers Jennifer Long and David Woodard on Monday at 11am via Zoom for a Last Monday Meditation. We'll pray the scriptures and find meaning in the deeper well of life! Get link here>

Why I Love the Church!

Assoc. Reg. Min. David Woodard

For the past 20 years, each Friday the faithful saints of Compton Heights CC have gathered outside their church on the busy Grand Avenue to greet passersby with love and kindness; sharing a smile or hug, a cup of coffee, and good cheer.

With all the aches and pains we endure on a daily basis, both individually and as a society, this band of merry saints gather to let everyone know that they are seen and they are loved.

Thank you, Compton Heights Christian Church for being a movement for wholeness in a fragmented world!
