The Phillips University Legacy Foundation is currently accepting scholarship applications for the 2024-2025 academic year. Applications due March 22. Learn more>

FCC Frankford's Monthly Mission


Led by their Mission Committee, First Christian Church in Frankford focuses on a special mission project every month. In December they collected 5,042 diapers for the Pike County Diaper Bank which distributes the diapers to low-income families. Learn more about this project here>

In January, the congregation collected more than 340 toiletry items for AVENUES in nearby Hannibal. AVENUES is a shelter for domestic and sexual violence victims and provides services in 11 Northeast Missouri counties. Learn more about this project here>

For February they are filling Valentine’s Day Boxes of Goodies for their homebound friends and those living in nursing homes! Read more and see other photos here>

Black History Month


During Black History Month, the National Benevolent Association (NBA), in collaboration with the National Convocation of the Christian Church (DoC) is providing culturally relevant spaces to practice and discuss resources for Black mental health and wellness. Join them for a Communal Mental Health webinar on Wednesday, February 21 at 1:00 pm. Learn more>

FCC Troy Donates to Bright Futures


First Christian Church in Troy collected and received funds and articles of children's clothing for Bright Futures, an endeavor of the Lincoln County R-3 School District to assist children who may have clothing and other needs during the school year. Every year, the church collects during the month of January, and this year received $705 in donations, and several totes filled with brand new leggings, underwear, socks, and other items. Cindy Finley is the Outreach Chair for the church.

Mardi Gras Drag Bingo


As part of National Avenue CC's 75th anniversary celebration, they are hosting Drag Bingo for a Fat Tuesday celebration! Tues., February 13, 6pm. $10 admission. Pancakes & prizes!
