Threads of Joy

Don't forget to register for an upcoming Rural Ministry Network gathering near you. As Disciples, we are all at the same table and together we want to encourage, equip, and connect Disciples of Christ churches in Mid-America as we grow in Christ. The events are free but registration is required as a meal will be served at each. Learn more>

Donations to Clergy Crisis Fund

From time to time Mid-America pastors are able to receive financial assistance, most often for medical issues, through our Clergy Crisis Fund. At this time, we are inviting and encouraging donations to this fund so it can continue to help where there is need. Rev. Terry Robison, Pastor at Burlington Junction and Pickering, has been struggling with liver cancer for the past two years. He is now at a point where he cannot climb the stairs in his house to get to his bedroom. We are inviting all who are able to make a donation, as we hope to be able to purchase of a chair lift for his home so he can navigate the stairs. If you are willing to contribute, please make your check to CCMA, noting Clergy Crisis Fund in the memo, and mail it to our St. Louis Regional office at 1320 W. Lockwood Ave., STL, 63122. Thank you.

Celebration for ARM Katherine Kinnamon

Our Associate Regional Minister for Commission on the Order of Ministry Rev. Katherine Kinnamon is retiring effective March 31. We are grateful for her many years of ministry in Mid-America and invite all to join the celebration at Compton Heights CC in St. Louis on Sunday, April 7 during their 11am worship. A reception will follow at approximately 12:30. All are also welcome to send a card to the church (2149 S. Grand, STL, 63104) to be presented to her that day.
