MARTIN COUNTY SCHOOL DISTRICT

My School Bucks

The Martin County School District is giving families even more flexibility and choice in their child's cafeteria purchases through new features now available in MySchoolBucks. After months of collaboration between the District's Food and Nutrition Services team and the MySchoolBucks vendor, families can now choose whether their student can purchase à la carte food and beverage items using funds from their meal account. In addition to enabling or disabling à la carte purchases, families can review their student's purchase history through MySchoolBucks and work directly with their school's cafeteria manager to establish daily or weekly spending limits or restrict à la carte purchases on specific days

To help families navigate these new options, the District has created a series of online resources, including a video explaining the difference between a standard school meal and an à la carte purchase, step-by-step MySchoolBucks tutorials, links to breakfast and lunch menus through Nutrislice, and information about applying for meal benefits through MySchoolApps. Families are encouraged to visit HERE to explore these resources and review their student's cafeteria settings before the start of the school year.

HUMANE SOCIETY OF THE TREASURE COAST

Donations Needed

Our shelter has taken in the border collies rescued by the Martin County Sheriff's Office Animal Services Unit, and we are providing them with medical attention, nourishment, and grooming as we assess the path forward. These innocent dogs were inhumanely kept in deplorable conditions, and while they are finally safe, their journey to recovery is just beginning. We will provide updates as we can, but right now our focus is on the well-being of these dogs, and we appreciate the public's patience while we navigate this complex situation. We've witnessed how deeply our community cares about animals and are incredibly grateful for the outpouring of support these past few weeks. We're asking again for your help as the financial burden of caring for these neglected dogs comes at a time when our shelter was already facing immense challenges. Please consider making a donation today. No gift is too small, and every dollar makes a difference. Together, we can give these dogs the second chance they deserve. Donate HERE
