Epiphany |
|
Join us this coming weekend, for the Feast of Epiphany, when we celebrate the manifestation of Christ to the peoples of earth. Early Christians chose this day to celebrate the various manifestations, or "epiphanies," of Jesus' divinity. These showings of his divinity included his birth, the coming of the Magi, his baptism, and the Wedding at Cana, where he miraculously changed water to wine. Worship services with Holy Eucharist will take place at St. Ignatius Chapel on Saturday, January 5, at 5:30 pm and at Christ Church, on Sunday, January 6, at 8:00, 9:15 and 11:15 am.

"The birth of Jesus has been well chronicled, as have his glorious teachings, acts, and divine sacrifice after his thirtieth birthday. But no one knows about the early life of the Son of God, the missing years -- except Biff, the Messiah's best bud, who has been resurrected to tell the story in the divinely hilarious yet heartfelt work 'reminiscent of Vonnegut and Douglas Adams'."
