How did you get into your current position?
I was active in mechanical construction for 40 + years and when the economic downturn of 2008 hit the mechanical company closed. I did some consulting in the mechanical industry for a few years. LED lighting had been on my radar and after working in the LED industry for 4 years decided to start a new company in 2017, Georgina Energy Solutions LLC, which serves the Pacific Northwest.
What excites you about facility management?
Helping with sustainability and peak performance of all the building systems.
How do you benefit from the IFMA and the Seattle Chapter?
The networking and sharing of new ideas and successful improvement plans.
Any advice for new members?
Get involved be a part of IFMA not an observer.
What do you like to do in your spare time?
Golf, spend time on Maui, exercise, travel.
Any other topics, discussion points, you care to share with the IFMA community?
A more open sharing of the facility improvements that members have made and what was done right and wrong.
