ESC consultant and client presenters at Marketing Cambridge: A Case Study Session  at the Cambridge Public Library  in June  (L to R: Gabriele Loebbert, Consultant, ESC; Marjorie Bauer, Consultant, ESC; Maria LaPage, Executive Director, Agassiz Baldwin Community; Donna Davis, Consultant, ESC; Susan Fleischmann, Executive Director, CCTV; Susan Flannery, Former Director of Libraries, Cambridge Public Library; Debra Yanofsky, Consultant, ESC.)
Dear friend,

I am excited to announce the launch of the Nonprofit Executive RoundTable (NET), an initiative that will bring nonprofit Executive Directors, CEOs and Presidents together in a peer learning community. When a thorny issue arises, have you had the urge to query a small group of trusted advisors who've walked in your shoes? NET is designed to provide the risk-free environment to examine the unique challenges nonprofit leaders face. Professionally facilitated by Jude Kidd and Julie Mairano, the monthly discussion will start September 8th. Space is limited. See below for further information and registration.

In other news this month, we saw the eBook release of two guides from our Discovering What's Next Program, and The Boston Foundation awarded a grant of $50,000 to Encore Boston Network (EBN), an organization that ESC supports as the fiscal agent and partner. The grant will support Encores4Youth, a national campaign of Encore.org. EBN is one of four pilot sites across the country because it already connects organizations, like ESC, that are necessary for successful implementation. Read more about how it may benefit your organization here.

Finally, a big thank you to three clients for sharing their experiences developing successful marketing projects with ESC: Terry Delancey, former Executive Director and Maria LaPage, Executive Director at Agassiz Baldwin Community; Susan Flannery, Former Director of Libraries at the Cambridge Public Library; and Susan Fleischmann, Executive Director of Cambridge Community Television.

If you've been thinking about how to tackle strategic planning, develop a new marketing plan, updating your board or personnel manual, or another management issue, call us.  We're proud to have had your back for 34 years and counting.

Best,

Julie Crockford

Nonprofit Executive RoundTable NET

It c an be lonely at the top.

Nonprofit executives are peerless within their organization, with no one to talk to about sensitive issues and challenging situations.  ESC of New England is pleased to announce a new program to address this professional support gap.

The ESC Nonprofit Executive RoundTable (NET) provides a confidential and risk free forum for nonprofit chief executives to share challenges and get real-time constructive feedback from sister travelers - smart, connected, leaders outside their organizations who understand the unique challenges of the job.

Learn more and  apply today! Space is limited.

The breakfast meetings will take place the second Thursday of the month beginning September 8, 2016 from 8:30 -10:30 AM in Downtown Boston, easily accessible by public transportation.
