New Process for Grant Writing for Foundation Proposals

Did you know that the Donor Services Department can assist you with writing grant proposals specific to your local area and projects? Grant writing services are available to field staff at NO additional charge. We are eager to support you in this way and have implemented a new procedure for receiving, accepting and acting on grant writing requests from staff. We believe this will help to better organize and respond to incoming requests from staff.

HUMAN RESOURCES
Staff Evaluations are Due by August 31, 2022, for All Staff Hired Before June 1, 2022
 
All staff must complete their Evaluation within the My Ministry Game Plan. For assistance in completing the Evaluation, please go to the FCA Help Center > My Ministry Game Plan > Evaluation Overview.

September Compensation Changes 
Any compensation changes effective September 1, 2022, must have been documented and approved through the 2022 Evaluation within the My Ministry Game Plan. Please note:
  • Salary increases approved through evaluations completed after 8/31 will not be processed.
  • Only 1% - 7% increases will be granted through the evaluation.
  • Increases above 7% must be approved via a PAF submitted with the full salary dollar amount by October 15th. 
  • No retro-pay will be given for this additional increase.

PAFs approved for September changes should ONLY be submitted for the following:
  • Changes from Hourly to Salary or Salary to Hourly
  • Salary Decrease
  • Status Change
  • Supervisor Change
  • Title Changes
  • Vehicle Allowance Change

ADVANCEMENT
Hall of Champions 2022 - Deadline is July 30th
 
The FCA Hall of Champions was established in 1991. Recipients who have received this special tribute are athletes, coaches, board members and key volunteers who have contributed significantly to the growth of FCA in their local area. Criteria
  • A personal belief in and commitment to Jesus Christ as their Savior and Lord.
  • Agreement with FCA’s Statement of Faith. 
  • A demonstrated commitment to participate in the ministry of FCA. 
  • A demonstrated commitment to further FCA’s vision, mission, and values. 
  • A lengthy period (minimum 10 years) of consistent service to FCA ministry.
  • Not an FCA staff person (FCA’s Hall of Honor is for both past and current staff).
  • Not a current member of our Board of Trustees. 
 
How
  • Field staff will nominate using this link: 2022 Hall of Champions Nomination
  • Each nomination will be submitted electronically to their Regional Vice President. 
  • The RVPs will select their top candidate and email their Divisional Vice President. 
  • The Global Field Office and the Divisional Vice Presidents will finalize the class of five for induction. (2 from each US Division and 1 from International Divisions). 
When
  • Completed nomination for volunteer submitted by local field staff for RVP approval by July 30.
TRAINING

We need veteran staff to serve as Huddle Leaders at our new staff Training Camp in September. Click here to read more about the role/responsibilities/requirements. This is a great way for you to serve and perhaps complete your own training requirement if you have been on staff longer than three years.
