Beginning on 4/2, Texas Department of Transportation will begin repairs and resurfacing on Main Street.

The majority of the closures will be at night from 8:30 pm - 5:30 am. The repairs will run the entire length of Main St., beginning at IH-10 North and ending at IH-10 South.

There will be alternate lane closures during the day from 9:00 am - 3:30 pm for drainage improvements at the Main St./River Rd. bridge and other repairs along Main St.

Please use caution while TxDOT crews are working. You can follow along with the progress of this project and other TxDOT construction by using their project tracker, linked below.

Be on the lookout for a brand new collection of temporary sculptures around Boerne! You may see a flurry of activity on the trails and around the Hill Country Mile this week as 10 new sculptures selected as part of the City’s Art al Fresco program are being installed.

The new exhibit will be up and ready for visitors by April 7, and stay tuned for a fun “selfie sweepstakes” on Facebook hosted by Art al Fresco, featuring great prizes from your favorite local retailers!
Attention City of Boerne Garbage Customers: It's almost time for spring bulky item pick-up! The deadline to get your address on the list is April 20, and crews will begin curbside pick-ups on April 23.

Before you install that fence, sprinkler system, swimming pool, deck, flower bed or any other project that requires digging this spring, remember to call 811 before you dig!

This free service is available 24/7. Please be aware that you are required, under law, to make the call. After you make the call, the City of Boerne will locate our underground lines within two business days.

You can purchase certain emergency preparation supplies, such as first aid kits, generators, smoke detectors, and more, tax free during the 2018 Emergency Preparation Supplies Sales Tax Holiday, April 28-30.

Get Fit Boerne has begun! It's not too late to sign up and get access to over 500 free fitness classes throughout the month of April.

This program is organized by our  Boerne Parks & Recreation Department and includes some great seminars from the  Patrick Heath Public Library !
Save the date for the Boerne Volunteer Fire Department's Annual Fish Fry! In addition to delicious fried fish plates, there will be a live auction, bucket raffle, live band, bounce house for kids, and more.
Did you know that a City of Boerne building permit is required if you planning to build or install a structure, such as a shed, playhouse, or addition? Boerne's Code Enforcement department is the best place to get your permit, as well as get answers to any questions you may have. Parks & Recreation's "Movies in the Park" kicks-off on April 27 with the popular Disney-Pixar movie, Coco! The first Movie in the Park will be at Main Plaza, and pre-movie activities will begin at 7:30. Our first Movie in the Park is co-sponsored by Living Hope Church.

The 26th Annual 26th Annual Texas Corvette Association Car Show is coming back to Boerne on April 21! The Car Show is expected to draw over 300 cars of all makes, models, and vintages.

Please keep in mind that Main St. will be closed from James St. to Blanco Rd. from 5:30 am - 5:00 pm, and roads surrounding Main Plaza will also be closed or opened to limited traffic. Don't miss this fun family event!
