Thanks to all the members who joined us for our Annual Meeting Zoom call on November 6th. The Co-op's General Manager, Shelley Navari had the opportunity to answer questions and present the Co-op's annual report.

We're happy to report that the following three board members have been re-elected for additional terms as follows.

• Kelley Lucci - Three year term
• Tom Connors - One year term
• Owiso Makuku - One year term

UPDATE ON REBATES

Things are only getting better for available rebates for home energy improvements as more and more of the provisions of the Inflation Reduction Act become available.

SWANTON ENERGY FAIR

The Energy Co-op is now providing all services to the Swanton area. The Co-op team enjoyed meeting and greeting our Swanton members and potential customers at the Swanton Energy Fair on October 21st.

Congrats to Paul Lambert, the winner of our raffle for $200 towards any Energy Co-op service.

OUR NEW TV COMMERCIAL

You may have already seen our new heat pump TV commercial. It will be running on WCAX plus streaming channels for November and December. Check it out here by clicking the "play" arrow.

EMPLOYEE NEWS

Congratulates to our Dispatch Manager, Lisa Boudreau, who has added another skill to her long list of accomplishments. Lisa recently completed her Commercial Driver License (CDL) training and now is fully licensed as a driver for large vehicles, like our oil delivery trucks.

Nationally, only 12% of licensed CDL drivers are women, so Lisa joins an elite (and growing) number of women who have earned this distinction.

Lisa says, "I have spent almost 10 years in the office dispatching your deliveries and assisting our members and have spoken with many of you. You may now see me delivering your fuel so feel free to give a wave and say Hi!"

At this time of year, everyone is asking about the price of fuel for the coming winter. The past two years have seen the most volatile prices in many years. As a service to our members, we post the daily cash price on our website. If you haven't been able to pre-buy and are worried about how price spikes may effect you, remember we are always available to answer your questions and discuss ways to help.
