FEBRUARY PROGRAMS

Sessions will take place in-person and virtually on the first three Thursdays February, March, May, and June. Each class will begin immediately after 7:30 minyan at 7:45 PM and run until 9:15 PM. Texts will be shared virtually and in person at class time.

Creative Spirituality for Tu B’Shevat a virtual program

Rabbi Drill will introduce text with interactive artistic expression. Be prepared with colored pencils, markers, and/or crayons as well as blank paper (any size).

Join for 7:30 minyan and stay-on the Zoom to learn more about the Jewish holiday of Tu B’Shevat.

We are excited to welcome Farzana Jamalzada and Farhad Khurami to the OJC on Saturday morning, February 11. They were featured in this NYTimes article this past summer. Refugees (newlyweds at the time) from Afghanistan, they will share their stories with us as we observe Refugee Shabbat.

We will also learn about OJC's capacity for partnering with HIAS to form a Welcome Circle for future refugees in need.
