KULANU

KULANU DRIVERS NEEDED

Two of our Kulanu teachers (Julia & Zamir) are JTS students who take the bus from NYC to Rockland (and back) on Thursday evenings. Starting immediately, we need volunteers to meet them at the bus stop located at the Lamont-Doherty Observatory (61 Route 9W, Palisades) on Thursdays at 3:45 PM and to bring them back at 6:30 PM. The Observatory is about a 15 minute ride from OJC.

Please use this google doc to volunteer for a driving shift and thank you for your help!

VOTE MERCAZ

Voting for the World Zionist Congress begins on March 10 and continues through May 4. The OJC is aligned with MERCAZ USA, the Zionist Organization of the American Conservative/Masorti Movement and we need all our congregants and their families to vote for the MERCAZ slate in order to support funding for the Movement's goals which include support for combatting antisemitism, pluralism and strengthening the bonds between American Jews and Israel . You will be receiving information in the next couple of weeks about how to register and vote: it only takes "5 minutes and $5". In the meantime, if you have any questions or wish to volunteer in our getting out the vote effort, please contact Lloyd Fishman at lloydf@optonline.net or 201-314-1861.
