Bat Mitzvah of Leah Shefsky

Hi! My name is Leah Shefsky, and I am 13 years old. I am a 7th grader at Fieldstone Middle School. I am pretty busy these days. I am a swimmer on the North Rockland High School Varsity Swim Team, a member of the All County Junior Band, and an active Girl Scout working on her Silver Award. I love to draw, learn, read, and hang out with my friends. I am also a HUGE Harry Potter fan. My favorite character is Luna Lovegood, because she is not afraid to be herself and to be different. I want to thank members of the OJC community who have already donated generously to my Mitzvah Project, called “Leahs’ Little Library”. I will be donating books and a book cart to the NICU where I was born 13 years ago. I look forward to seeing you at my Bat Mitzvah!

Night of Music - Cantor Magda Fishman
