In July, the Virtual MLS Summit crew is hosting a mini session focused on artificial intelligence on July 31st. AI continues to grow and change, and the topic has been discussed everywhere, but are you prepared to start using the many tools available at your fingertips? This session will cover the promise and pitfalls of emerging tech to real-world tools brokers are already using.

As a reminder, all listings in the MLS database must have at least 1 photograph, including Closed listings and Comp Only listings. 

For Buyer Side comps, once the listing is saved, you will not have the ability to edit that listing since you are not reflected as the listing agent. Accordingly, that photo must be uploaded before you save the listing.

PrimeMLS has added a warning for all Buyer Side comps advising that you will not be able to edit the listing or add photos after it is saved. An error has been added if you do not upload a photo, and the error cannot be resolved until at least 1 photograph is uploaded.

In Paragon Connect, tap the image icon at the top of the screen and upload a photo straight from your mobile device (or any device).

Tap "Add/Edit Pictures" from the menu on the left side of the listing maintenance screen to upload a photo in Paragon Professional.

PrimeMLS is continuing its efforts to become RESO-compliant. RESO is the Real Estate Standards Organization, an independent body formed to develop data standards and processes that create efficiencies for all participants in real estate transactions, focusing on streamlining data for all.

What does becoming RESO Compliant mean for PrimeMLS?

To achieve this data standardization, certain adjustments are made, including renaming or reorganizing fields, removing fields, or transferring selections within a field to a different one. These changes will impact both search and listing input/maintenance modules. These modifications are essential for ensuring consistency and compatibility across different systems and platforms.

Will listing data be lost?

Listing data will not be lost. Instead, it may be moved based on the new location of the field and/or selection within that field.

When will these changes take place?

Round 3 of RESO updates will occur on July 8, 2025.

Reports in Paragon Connect and Paragon Professional, as well as the listing input forms (located in the MLS Documents section of Paragon), will be updated in accordance with the changes highlighted in each round.
