Denton County launched a small business grant program for businesses who closed the longest and have been the most negatively impacted during the COVID-19 pandemic .

IMPORTANT NOTE: Temporary street closure - Main St. and Mill St. - Monday, May 18 and tentatively end on Tuesday, May 19 (weather permitting).
For the construction work involving raising the water line crossing the sewer line on Main Street and for the installation of a sanitary sewer manhole at the Main St and Mill St intersection, the following streets will be closed completely to traffic. control maps.
Main Street: closed between Mill Street and Kealy Avenue
Mill Street: closed between Church Street and Main Street
Please use the detour routes as shown in the attached traffic control plan sheets and as indicated by the signage.
Celebrate Bike Month on the A-Train Bike Trail

The A-train Rail Trail runs alongside DCTA’s commuter rail line and was designed to complement its surroundings and adjacent facilities. The 19-mile trail is part of the agency's efforts to provide safe, customer-focused, efficient mobility solutions to Denton County, connecting transit facilities with key destinations within DCTA's member cities – Denton, Lewisville, Highland Village - and surrounding areas.
CoServ sets up relief fund to help Members and Customers

Our hearts go out to all North Texans who are suffering from COVID-19 and the financial hardships resulting from the shutdown of so many businesses.

Many of our neighbors have lost their jobs and can’t cover everyday expenses. To help these residential Members and Customers during this challenging time, CoServ has established the CCF COVID-19 Emergency Relief Fund. (Note: This only applies to residential accounts; if you are a small business and need assistance, please visit  this special page  established by the U.S. Small Business Administration.) 

Working through the  CoServ Charitable Foundation  (CCF), CoServ has designated $200,000 to  seven social service agencies  to help provide financial assistance during this challenging time. Members and Customers financially affected by the pandemic are encouraged to contact one of the agencies listed below. The CoServ Charitable Foundation is an IRS-recognized 501(c)3 charity. All donations are tax-deductible, as allowed by law. 

In addition, please know that CoServ:
  • Has extended the suspension of residential disconnections for nonpayment through Thursday, April 30, 2020
  • Offers payment due-date extensions that will give customers the time they need to initiate the application process and receive assistance
  • Has created a secure online form that allows one-time tax-deductible donations to the relief fund by Members and Customers who would like to contribute. Log in to your SmartHub account for details.
