Preaching in a Time of Social Crisis: 

Strategies and Approaches to Difficult Topics

Clergy are welcome to join in the Diocese of San Diego Clergy Day with the Rev. Dr. Mark Jefferson, Assistant Professor of Homiletics at Virginia Theological Seminary, on Monday, June 20, 2022, 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. “Preaching in a Time of Social Crisis: Strategies and Approaches to Difficult Topics” St. Paul’s Cathedral, San Diego.

 

This class will explore the context for our modern proclamation and help preachers construct a proactive approach to community formation by developing an intentional arc to the preaching life. Preachers will leave this class with a framework for reimagining their preaching and an approach to attending to modern issues. Read More and Register
