The holiday season is upon us, and so are all the fun events that go along with them! There's the WBAL Radio Concert for Kids, OMHS 3rd Annual Holiday Parade, THES Holiday Mart, various turkey trots, and more! Scroll down to see everything that's happening.

Congratulations to the OMHS football team!

The varsity football team won the regional championship, beating Atholton 31-0! They will play Linganore HS for the state semi-finals this Friday, November 29 at 6:30 p.m. at Linganore HS (12013 Old Annapolis Road, Frederick). Get tickets at GoFan.

Congratulations to OMHS FAB!

FAB has been selected as one of three national CheddarUp change makers and will be featured nationally on Giving Tuesday (December 3) in addition to receiving a grant from CheddarUp.

WBAL Concert for Kids

The annual holiday Concert for Kids supports the community by raising funds and awareness for the WBAL Radio Kids Campaign. Buy tickets here.


Volunteers needed! Volunteer with FAB to sell concessions (all profits go to the WBAL Radio Kids Campaign). Or, if you have an OMHS performing arts student, volunteer to help with set-up, clean-up, or ticketing.

OMHS 3rd Annual Holiday Parade

December 14, 4:00 p.m.

Starts at SFES and turns right onto Kilimanjaro, ending at OMHS

If your community group or organization would like to participate, please indicate interest by completing this form.

New this year! We'd love for one of our walking groups to be a "pet parade". If your pet has the temperament to walk with people + other pets around and be gazed at adoringly by community members, please use the same form to sign up and click the Pet Parade group participation option. Costumes welcome

HC DrugFree provides resources and education on prevention, treatment, recovery, and health and wellness to help Howard County residents develop knowledge and skills to understand and address behavioral health (substance use and mental health) disorders. HC DrugFree website
