Youth Ministry Updates

Hello!

Whether you are heading out to go camping or going to the beach, or taking a break from Zoom in your backyard reading a book (yes, I did say a book!) we hope that you will have some refreshing and fun times!

We are excited to let you know that we had a great response to our call for applicants for our Youth Director position! The applicants are a diverse group of individuals, each with a desire to nurture the faith formation of our youth. The Youth Director Search Committee (composed of youth and adults) has reviewed the candidates' resumes and compiled a list for further review.

Stayed tuned for surprises that will be taking place in regard to the youth community space. Think about a comfortable space for gathering and for connecting with other friends and making new friends! When we are back at church, we hope you will bring friends!

We need to build a team to support our youth and the director. This could involve periodically or regularly helping with a meal, an outreach activity, a fun event, leading a Bible study, having a conversation and, of course, regularly holding our youth in your prayers. All ages are encouraged!

Church Engaged! | Support Students @ Woodville Elementary!

Many of you know that going back to school will look vastly different for kids and families this year. Our friends at Woodville will be no exception. One thing that will not change is the need for school supplies.

We are collecting the following school supplies:

Pencils

Pencil Sharpeners

Crayons/Markers/Colored Pencils

Pencil Boxes/Pouches

Composition Notebooks (ideally; we will also accept spiral notebooks)

Small Dry Erase Boards

Dry Erase Markers

Cheap headphones/headsets/earbuds (kid-friendly) WITH MICROPHONES

Sidewalk chalk

Glue sticks

Contactless drop off in front of St. Paul's on Grace Street the next two weeks:

Thursday, August 13th and 20th | 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.
