Inland Health Professions Coalition — Get Psyched!

Reach Out's Inland Health Professions Coalition held Get Psyched! for students at Cajon High School in San Bernardino.

The San Bernardino County Department of Behavioral Health and the San Bernardino County Superintendent of Schools gave students an overview of different behavioral healthcare careers and provided them with mental health resources.

Students also had the opportunity to receive Question, Persuade, Refer (QPR) — a suicide prevention training. They also participated in a simulation of Hearing Voices, an empathy-building activity that gave them the opportunity to understand the challenges of individuals living with psychosis.

Stay tuned for Inland Health Professions Conference on April 12, 2023!
