I'm excited to share that Gwinnett County is launching the Jimmy Carter Boulevard Master Plan, a bold and collaborative effort to reimagine one of our community’s most important corridors.

The master plan will guide future land use and redevelopment efforts, improve multimodal transportation options, and support infrastructure, housing, and placemaking enhancements that align with the 2045 Unified Plan’s Daily Community Framework. At the heart of this effort is a strong commitment to public involvement.

That’s where you come in.

Apply to serve on the Jimmy Carter Boulevard Master Plan Advisory Committee

We are now accepting applications from District 2 residents interested in joining the Community Advisory Committee for this project. This committee will play a key role throughout the planning process, offering guidance, insight, and local knowledge to help shape the vision for Jimmy Carter Boulevard.

Members will:

• Provide feedback on project goals, design concepts, and recommendations
• Help share important updates with your peers and community
• Support inclusive and meaningful public engagement

The full committee will meet three times during the planning process:

• June 2025
• October 2025
• February 2026

Members are also encouraged to participate in other community engagement events as they are scheduled.
