The Women's Business Center (WBC) of Northern Ohio, part of the ECDI Women's Business Centers of Ohio, is dedicated to eliminating the obstacles women face in the business world. As a program of the nonprofit community lender ECDI, the WBC provides vital resources, training, and access to capital to entrepreneurs. The center's mission is to ensure no entrepreneur – regardless of their age, where they came from, where they live, their gender or their race – lacks the resources needed to achieve their dreams.
| |
The WBC envisions a thriving community of entrepreneurs empowered to start and manage businesses that not only enrich their lives but also positively impact their families, employees, and communities. By fostering confidence and providing robust support systems, the WBC helps business owners build lasting personal legacies through successful business ventures.
As part of a national network of nearly 100 U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA)-funded Women's Business Centers, the WBC of Northern Ohio is the only center of its kind in the state.
| |
It offers business planning, training, one-on-one assistance, and mentorship to its members and ECDI loan clients. The center's services extend beyond Ohio, serving counties in Kentucky, Indiana, and West Virginia.
