A Note from Ms. Moran
Happy New Year!  It is hard to believe we are halfway through the school year.  We are looking forward to many changes in 2019. Our building renovation will be the most exciting and we look forward to starting 2020 in the new EEC.  With all the excitement of the new building comes the preparation and hard work of moving to a temporary site until our building is updated. That will be a challenge for all of us.  We know change is difficult, but if we keep focused on the much need improvements that will help. Please don't hesitate to call or stop and see me if you have any questions regarding the move.  We look forward to having a great year here at the EEC. We hope everyone has a happy, safe and prosperous New Year! Please see the attached letter, which was sent via email on Friday and also placed in your family mailbox at school, for more details.
Box Top Competition
Our final Box Tops Competition runs through Friday February 22. In order to get credit for your child's classroom, please send Box Tops in a bag or envelope labeled with your child's name and classroom. As always, the winners will receive a fun prize! We were able to raise over $460 in our fall contest. Hopefully we can beat that!
Kindergarten Recess
The kindergarten students will continue to go outside everyday for recess as long as the temperature is above 20 degrees.  Please make sure you are dressing your child appropriately for the weather.
Car Line Reminder
Just a reminder regarding car line.  Please do not pass other cars in car line.  In order to keep all children and staff safe remain in the line until all the cars in front of you have started to move.  We are doing our best to get children out to the car as quickly as possible.

1. Severe cold and cough
2. Diarrhea
3. Vomiting
4. Unexplained rash
5. Elevated temperature (must be free of fever for 24 hours before returning to school)
