Donate your unwanted crayons
Do you have broken/unwanted crayons that you are planning to throw away?
Well, save them from the landfill and donate to a good cause! The PTA is collecting used crayons and will be sending them to "Effortless Art", a company (started by a former Fairview grad!) that makes adapted crayons for early learners and special needs children.  If you would like to donate your broken/used crayons, you can drop  them in the box found in the Early Education Center office. We will be collecting them through the remainder of the school year. Any questions, please feel free to contact Karley Beaudry, Thank you!
Check In/Check Out Tablet
If you are enrolled in the Daycare Programs, be sure you are using the check in/out tablet.  If you do not know your codes please ask the office for help. You will need to use the tablet to gain access to the Parkview building.  Don't forget to check your family mailbox in the vestibule!
District Shares Guidance on Coronavirus Preparedness
This past week, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) released information  for schools about coronavirus prevention. We have reviewed these federal guidelines as well as the Ohio Department of Health's recommendations regarding coronavirus in schools.
Health officials currently recommend a series of common-sense protections for our students, staff and community:
  • Avoid close contact with people who are sick.
  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth with unwashed hands.
  • Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. If soap and water are not available, use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer.
  • Stay at home if you are sick and keep children at home if they are sick.
  • Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, and throw the tissue in the trash.
  • Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces.
While the threat of the coronavirus impacting American schools remains unknown, we continue to work with government and health care agencies to develop coronavirus response plans.

We will continue to update you on our efforts as well as developments involving this health concern.

Stay in the Know - Please be sure that your most up to date contact information is in your PowerSchool parent portal under Alerts.
Thank you.
