From the Rector

Dear people of St Peter’s, This Saturday is Men’s Breakfast at 8am in the parish hall. All are invited.  Next week I’ll be on retreat with my spiritual director, as I do every year. The Rev Eric Heidecker will be celebrating the Wednesday healing service while I’m gone. Saturday January 27 th at 3pm the churches of the Northwest Mission District gather with Bishop Dan & the people of St Patrick’s Incline to install The Rev Sarah Syer as Rector. We welcome her and her husband Nate to the Diocese of Nevada! The Vestry agreed this past Tuesday to give Kim Morgan an extended leave of absence from her duties in the parish. We continue to hold her in prayer. Cards & letters of encouragement are welcome. Be well in the New Year. Be a blessing as you are blessed! Jeff+

In Memoriam

With a heavy heart I write to tell you of Elizabeth Tunaley’s death this past Friday. She passed at home in peace after a long year of issues and determination, setbacks and struggle. She was a fighter with an amazing constitution. We will gather this Friday January 12 th in the church building at 1 pm to celebrate her life and give thanks to God. A reception will follow in the parish hall.  May her soul, and the souls of the all the departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace.   Jeff+

Derby Talbot Lodge Campaign Reaches Goal!

We're done! As we tracked our progress toward $400,000 on the lake icon, we were overwhelmed with the outpouring of support for the Derby Talbot Lodge Campaign. Over 70 donors made pledges to the project to renovate the lower dormitory, including the addition of a great room and outdoor gathering area.
