Dear people of St Peter’s,

This weekend Marietta and I are in San Juan Bautista at the Franciscan Center to lead a retreat.

Next weekend is the Men’s Retreat at Galilee. You can still call the office 882-1534 to sign up. It’s $78 for the overnighter, dinner is 6pm Friday, we wrap at noon Saturday, for…

The Parish Picnic  on Saturday June 9th at Galilee, $10 per person for a wonderful lunch to be shared with the people of Coventry Cross Minden. Come one, come all!

If that isn’t enough festivity for you, the Carson City Rotary Brewfest is that same Saturday, downtown from 4-9pm. I have pre-sale tickets for $30 each. Marietta & I will be out there working the party. Yippee aye yo!

Blessings on all as we lean into the days of summer.

UTO This Sunday
This Sunday, June 3rd we will be having our semi-annual
UTO collection.

The United Thank Offering is a ministry of the Episcopal Church for the mission of the whole church. UTO is entrusted to receive the offerings, and to distribute the 100% of what is collected to support innovative mission and ministry throughout The Episcopal Church and Provinces of the Anglican Communion. To learn more, click here to visit their website.

Any and all donations are appreciated. If you are writing a check, please address your check to St. Peter's (so our parish received credit for the donation).

Bits & Pieces of St. Peter's History
During the Fall of 1904, while the Rector was on a two-month vacation, St. Peter's nave was refurbished under the leadership of the Women's Guild. The walls were painted and the frescos were refreshed. New carpet was installed and the pews received new cushions.
