From the Rector
Dear people of St Peter’s,

Many thanks to all who made Holy Week so amazing – Suzie McCurdy, Pam Ertel, Jeannette Miller, Bryan McCurdy, readers, chalice bearers, acolytes Kristin Anderson & Mia McCurdy – along with our Lutheran brothers and sisters from St Paul’s at the Great Vigil. Congratulations to Kristin Anderson, baptized by candlelight at the Great Vigil. So cool.

I just saw the list of names of those who volunteered to make St Peter’s hosting the cold weather homeless shelter such an amazing experience. Wow. That’s a lot of people power! Thank you all for stepping up.

Saturday April 14 th is Men’s Breakfast, 8-9:30am in the parish hall. All guys are welcome.

Saturday April 21 st , 10-11:30am is the Northwest Mission District meeting in preparation for Diocesan Convention. St Catherine’s is hosting, 10435 Double R Blvd, Reno. All clergy, elected delegates – Veronica Galas, Jeannette Miller, AJ Feuling, Marietta Paul, and elected alternates – Bud Gilbert, Terry Dezort, Louise Hogen, Karen Kish, Marilyn Peshek, Donna Murphy-Sharp – are strongly urged to attend this meeting, since the election of our next Bishop takes place at convention.

Blessings in Eastertide!

Jeff+
Thank You!

Labyrinth News
News from your Vestry!

The Labyrinth for St. Peter’s is the vestry’s main project for this year. We have reviewed many different patterns and sizes. We chose 3 patterns recommend to Father Jeff. The labyrinth we chose is Vision Quest a la Chartres! It is a traditional Gothic style. This is the same Labyrinth, albeit hundreds of years old at the Notre Dame Cathedral.
If you have noticed the whiskers on the lawn closer to the rectory you will see the dimensions of it.

This is a project which has been on our minds for quite a while and we are thrilled to make a decision. The Vestry will be looking for an engineer and getting ready to start the project. Please keep the labyrinth and the vestry in your prayers.

Bits & Pieces of St. Peter's History

In the Spring of 1899, a storm toppled St. Peter's steeple cross and damaged the top of one of the chimneys. Mr. Henry Yerington donated the materials to repair the chimney and Mr. Johnson rebuilt it.
