A longtime Madison bagel maker says it may have to close its doors if trucks can no longer use the parking lot of another longtime Madison institution to reach the bakery’s loading dock, according to a lawsuit filed late Wednesday.

A developer is proposing to raze a small church, a former Italian deli, two houses and Buckingham’s Bar and Grill — a historic building — for a 10-story structure with housing, commercial space and parking on the 800 block of Regent Street.

An architecture firm that has worked on some of the country’s top museums has been tapped to join the design team for a new Wisconsin history center, the Wisconsin Historical Society said.
