A unique proposal to convert the shuttered HotelRed near Camp Randall into an apartment complex with commercial space got its final approval Monday from Madison’s Plan Commission.
A land conservancy organization has purchased about 70,000 acres of northern Wisconsin forestland in hopes of preserving it for public use and logging.
Renovations to the south end zone seating at Camp Randall Stadium are scheduled to start in a month, and the University of Wisconsin has put some of the new premium seats on sale to the public.
