A Georgia developer is proposing to demolish the building and three others Downtown to make way for a 16-story student apartment building.

'HIGH VOLUME' OF COMMENTS ON BELTLINE PROJECT FORCES DOT TO EXTEND COMMENT PERIOD
The comment period has been extended to Jan. 31 to allow for more feedback on the proposed changes on a 20-mile stretch of the Beltline from Middleton to Cottage Grove.

The developer appeared to be pulling out after village staff said the nearly 1,600-acre data center campus was “not feasible in DeForest.”
Dane County and Frank Productions must now agree on the scope of the renovation and how the venue will be managed when work is complete.
