ACS Parents,
It was such a blessing to welcome your kids back to school this week. We are humbled and honored to continue to partner with you in their education. Thank you for your prayers as well, for the students and staff as we kick off the 2018-19 school year. My prayer is that God will be honored and glorified in all we do at ACS this year.

Parent Night will be held on Tuesday, September 4, from 6:00-7:15pm for parents of students in Young Fives through 8th grade . This event is for parents only. Please join us in the gym for an opening prayer and important information, and then go to your child(ren)'s classroom for a brief presentation from the teacher. Each teacher will give the same 15-minute presentation three times with a short passing time between. That way, parents with multiple children can make it to each teacher (divide and conquer if needed). The teachers are excited to share with you who they are, their passion for God and for kids, and some expectations for the school year.

Be sure to review our Student Handbook which can be found on our website or by clicking the following link:

TRIP
TRIP Update! Sign up to help and keep this program running!

I n order for this program to run effectively we are in need of volunteers. We need 1 driver for each week, 2-3 volunteers every Tuesday evening from 6:15-7:30 and 3 volunteers every Wednesday morning from 8:15-9:30. If everyone who participates in TRIP helps out once or twice a year the spots could be filled up quickly.  If you are able to help please contact Christy Breuker at  jcbreuker@yahoo.com .

Post Family Farm in Hudsonville is looking to hire energetic ADULTS for seasonal work this fall (September and October).  Opportunities include donut making, leading school tour groups and tractor hayride driving.  These opportunities are available from early morning to evening, Monday-Saturday. Donut making involves working with several others in our bakery making donuts, filling orders and running the cash register.  Tour guides take a group of children, teachers and parents around the farm. This does include the pleasure of driving a tractor. All training is provided. After school and festival workers may work in donuts, office, admissions or drive tractor to and from the pumpkin patch.  No previous experience is required for any position.  Work days and hours are very flexible to fit your schedule.  Please contact Julie at Post Family Farm, if you have any interest in working in a fun, farm atmosphere.
