Important office communication notes

The Annual Society Meeting will be held next week Monday, March 15 at 6:30pm. All ACS parents, as well as those who support ACS financially, are part of the society. The meeting will be held virtually, and a Zoom link will be sent out next Monday, in advance of the meeting. The annual meeting is used to affirm new Board members, renew current Board members for a 2nd three-year term, affirm new PTA leadership, and approve the budget and tuition rates. The agenda, which includes Principal and Treasurer Reports, can be found HERE. The agenda includes an absentee ballot, which can be delivered to the ACS office in a sealed envelope by the end of the school day on Monday. For those that join the virtual meeting, there will be a digital voting opportunity shared at the meeting.

Job Openings ACS is looking to add to the substitute teacher list and we are in need of one more hot lunch team member for Thursdays. If you are interested in either of one these positions, or know of someone that might be, please reach out to bkoetje@allendalechristian.org.

Congratulations to 7th grade student, Brayden Kreuze, on finishing in 3rd place at the Regional Mathcounts competition! Brayden is now eligible to participate in the State competition in a few weeks.

Enrollment
  • If you are enrolling a child in Young Fives or Kindergarten for the very first time online, there is a one time $300 enrollment fee, which is part of the tuition cost. Once they are enrolled online, you never have to re-enroll them again.
  • Because there is no re-enrollment for students in Y5 or above, it is very important for you to notify Brian Koetje if you anticipate enrollment changes, like potential unenrollment, for next school year. This information is important for planning. Brian's email is bkoetje@allendalechristian.org.
  • To obtain an opt-out sheet for next year, please email skuperus@allendalechristian.com.

Preschool Enrollment The Preschool Enrollment form along with the $50 registration fee, Child Info form, FERPA form and a copy of your child's birth certificate must be turned in to complete enrollment. Tuition Assistance for 21-22 ACS participates in FACTS, a grant application program for our school. Completion of the FACTS application is a requirement for next year's enrollment if you are expecting a remaining balance at the end of the school year or you will be requesting tuition assistance. Families who wish to apply for tuition assistance will need to use the FACTS application format online at https://factsmgt.com. Applications must be submitted by March 31, 2021. The application fee will be paid by the participating schools.
