**Please stay after chapel for a time of fellowship! We are excited to be able to facilitate a time of fellowship after any Theme and Praise & Worship chapel for those who come to worship with us! A small treat will be provided in the gym and we would love for you to stick around for a half hour to take the opportunity to build our ACS community!

Vision Event Invitation

We are extending an invitation to you to attend one of our Vision Events. What is a Vision Event? This is an opportunity to hear about the history of the school, understand the mission and vision of ACS, hear some of the initiatives of the school, and get a fuller picture of where the school is headed. This is not a fundraising event, but one where we share the awesome things God is doing and where He is leading the school!

We are excited to share this with all those who would attend, so please feel free to pass this invitation along to others in the ACS community (invite grandparents or even a neighbor who is interested in hearing more about Allendale Christian)!

Elementary Parent-Teacher Conferences will be held October 17 & 18 from 5:00-8:15pm. An information sheet will be sent home with your child in the next week. You only need to return this sheet IF you have a time that conferences will not work for you. Please be sure to return this sheet no later than Friday, October 7. This year, come and hear "Why Now"- The front row story behind the essential need for Christian education in 2022 from Dan Landstra, the Director of Spiritual Life and Leadership at Unity Christian High School. 

Substitute Teachers Needed: ACS is looking to add to our Substitute Teacher list, for all days, but especially on Wednesdays. If you are interested in learning more, or being added to the substitute list, please email Brian Koetje at bkoetje@allendalechristian.org. Please share this information with others that might be qualified and interested.

Absences due to illness: For the current school year, students will be able to return to school when they are fever free for 24 hours and have significantly improved symptoms. Families have the option to keep a student home longer if they choose. Quarantines will not be mandated for students and staff that have been exposed to an illness.

Volunteer Opportunity! Throughout the course of the month, teachers will have the opportunity to meet with their grade-level team and our Director of Learning, Rachel Reed, for continued professional development. These meetings will be held during lunch, and we are looking for volunteers to help provide classroom coverage for these meetings. We would love it if you could please check out our sign-up genius and sign up to help with classroom lunchtime coverage in order to make this possible. We appreciate your help in this way! Sign Up Genius link
