Morning drop-off request Parents - please drop your children off along the curb in front of the school at the beginning of the day. We have families that are dropping kids off in the parking lot to walk on their own to school. This is causing concern from families who are focused on the vehicles in front of them, but also have kids running across the walkway in front of school. If there is a reason you need to come in to the school office, please walk with your children across the walkway.

School Schedule Parents - please note that our first bell rings at 8:15am. Please do your best to have your kids to school by 8:15am.

Congratulations to Seth Breuker and Sophia Balcom for finishing first and runner-up in the School Spelling Bee last Thursday! There were about 25 finalists from grades 3-8 that participated in the bee. Seth and Sophia will go on to represent ACS at the Regional Bee in February.

With the increasing community COVID spread, it is so important that parents send healthy kids to school. If you have a child that is not feeling well, please keep them home. If these are typical symptoms for you child, and not worsening, and there is no reason to believe there has been a contact to a positive COVID case, students may return after following normal protocols, like 24-hours fever free. Please use the 'Who Must Stay Home' document below (page 2) as a guide for when students should stay home.

-- There are many other documents on our re-opening page that can answer many questions you might have, specific to ACS, or more general procedures for schools regarding COVID, staying at home, etc. Here is the LINK to that webpage.
