Due to current restrictions with gathering sizes, we are presenting a virtual Christmas concert this year! During the school day on December 11, we will be recording each grade level singing and playing some special Christmas songs. To give the concert a professional look, we would love to have the students dress up for the occasion but since it is during the school day, we will do it a little differently this year! On December 11, please send your child to school wearing their green ACS theme shirt, jeans, and red/green/Christmas accessories! Also, please add December 21 to your calendar for the premiere of our ACS Virtual Christmas Concert and share with your family and friends!

Early Childhood & Child Care enrollment For current ACS families, enrollment for 2021-22 preschool and child care will begin on Wednesday, January 6. There will be a one-week window for ACS families to enroll in those programs before it is open to the public. The enrollment form will be sent out at the conclusion of Christmas break. We also need your help! Due to the fact that we will not be able to hold the Early Childhood Open House in January (due to COVID), we will be offering individual tours and sitting down with prospective families. We will be advertising on JQ99 this year (starting in late December) and pushing out information via Facebook and postcards. If you know someone that is interested, send them to our school website, under preschool, and there will be a sign-up for an individual tour. They can also call school or email to [email protected]. Help us promote ACS!

Mr. Wiechel bought some ACS masks for the staff earlier this fall and has some extras available. If you, or your child is interested, please send him $5.20 in cash or Venmo @nwiechel. He will get the mask to your child's teacher who will then get it to your child. Here is a picture of what it looks like.

RightNow Media! Allendale Christian strives to partner with each family to provide an excellent Christian education. We also want to support you in helping your entire family be firm in your faith, and to continually strengthen your relationship with the family. ACS is giving you free access to an extensive video library called RightNow Media! It’s like the "Netflix of Video Bible Studies" and has an extensive library of faith-based videos that you can access whenever and wherever you want—on your phone, iPad, computer, classroom projector or at home on your TV.

As a principal, educator, husband, and parent, I know that it is a challenge in today’s culture to be able to have access to resources that connect us to God instead of separate us. I believe that RightNow Media will be a tool to serve you as you live out your faith in all aspects of life. RightNow Media has videos for everyone—kids, youth, parents, teachers, married couples, college students, single adults, working professionals—all aimed at helping you grow. I was amazed at the great videos, Bible studies, marriage and parenting support, Biblical finance, and much more. There is so much for the whole family! It is so worth checking out. Plus, the entire staff at ACS has access to these videos for their classrooms.

Earlier this year you received an email invitation to RightNow. If you cannot find the invitation, you are able to click on this link to give you free access to RightNow Media! If you have issues with the link, let me know. Once you sign up for an account, you’re all set to explore more than 20,000 videos. I pray that RightNow Media will be a blessing to strengthen you, your family and our students!

With the increasing community COVID spread, it is so important that parents send healthy kids to school. If you have a child that is not feeling well, please keep them home. If these are typical symptoms for you child, and not worsening, and there is no reason to believe there has been a contact to a positive COVID case, students may return after following normal protocols, like 24-hours fever free. Please use the 'Who Must Stay Home' document below (page 2) as a guide for when students should stay home.

-- There are many other documents on our re-opening page that can answer many questions you might have, specific to ACS, or more general procedures for schools regarding COVID, staying at home, etc. Here is the LINK to that webpage.
