We have also added expanded our downloadable materials to include materials in languages other than English and materials for Tribal Communities.

News to Note

The Maine Children's Alliance has recently released their 2021 Maine Kids Count Data Book. This book is Maine’s only comprehensive report of the physical, social, economic and educational well-being of Maine children. The goal is to provide data and information so state and business leaders can make informed decisions on policies and practices that affect Maine kids and to be the best advocate for Maine kids!

The Finance Authority of Maine (FAME) is a quasi-independent state agency that expands business and educational opportunities to help Maine people and businesses succeed. FAME offers a suite of programs and services to help Mainers meet their educational goals no matter where they are in life. FAME is the administrator of NextGen 529, Maine’s Section 529 plan. FAME also helps to administer the Alfond Grant program.
