More & More Boats Are Filling the Marina Each Day!



Launch Operations are underway— please review these reminders.

1.) The Launch Schedule is busy. Don't miss a minute on the Lake!

• To ensure you don't lose your place on the list and don't hold anyone up, please assure you are ready to Splash on your date. Contact the Service Department if you have questions!
• Make sure covers are removed, waxing is complete and your boat is prepped and ready for Launch.

2.) MOVING EQUIPMENT!

• The PBM Crew will be all over the property moving boats.
• Keep an eye out for moving equipment.
• SLOW DOWN.
• Check in with Service for Daily Parking updates.
• Do not interact with the Crew while they are moving boats— this is a safety issue.

3.) Power, Wi-Fi, Water and Pump Out:

• The power and Wi-Fi are on.
• The pump-out is operational, and water is available on the 200 dock & at the Bulkhead. After regular Spring maintenance, water should be on the 100 & 300 docks in the coming days, and the 400 & 500 docks early next week.

4.) Dock Wheels, Rub Rail, Steps, Cleats, Etc.

• As a friendly reminder, if changes need to be made to any dock features, this NEEDS to be coordinated with PBM.
• If you need changes made to any of the dock features on your slip please call 715-779-3900 or email Sherry Dunlap, Service Coordinator.

Launch Brunch

This year, we are trying something new. A Great Lakes Cruising Club Lake Superior Launch Brunch is scheduled from 9a.m. to noon, Saturday, May 17, at the beautiful Port Superior Marina in Bayfield, Wis. We hope to see you there.

The brunch is meant to be a fun and informal early-season event to get together with boating friends, as well as a fine opportunity to make new ones. It's also an occasion to share your upcoming summer's boating plans with other members, and just maybe agree to meet up somewhere on the water.

As at past Lake Superior Rallies, the menu includes pancakes, hash browns, sausage, orange juice and coffee. A gluten-free option will be available. The cost of the Launch Brunch is just $5.00 per person, and children 15 years or younger eat free.

Port Superior Marina is about 1.5 miles south of Bayfield in Pikes Bay, off of Highway 13. The GLCC Launch Brunch will be in the upstairs members' lounge in the marina's large clubhouse, which is the building just south of the Portside Restaurant. Access to the upstairs lounge is through the double doors on the upper deck that connects the two buildings.

Please feel free to show up anytime during the hours listed above. However, kindly register HERE in advance so we know how many people to plan on serving. Guests are always welcome and can also register through the link.

The registration links are open for non-GLCC members, but the registration form says "Member 1/Member 2." The terminology doesn't matter. Any name will do. Everyone is welcome.
