Partnerships Make Us Stronger

Thrive Mortgage Company has selected Defenders of Freedom as their Charity for 2020.

Defenders of Freedom is honored to have been selected by Thrive Mortgage as their charity for the year!  We are Thrilled they have selected us and are looking forward to partnering with them this year.

When I started Defenders of Freedom, it really was on a simple belief that most people support our Troops, many just don't know how.  I envisioned Defenders of Freedom being an avenue for people to bring their talents and gifts to the men and women who have stood in the gaps for our freedoms.

Roy Jones, CEO of Thrive Mortgage presenting Donna and Anthony Smith an award.

Thank you Thrive for bringing your talents and gifts to Veterans!  They have offered us their IT team, their marketing department, and all the creativity that comes with their gifted team.  They are also helping us raise funds to help struggling Veterans receive treatment for their brain injuries.  Thrive is located in Georgetown, Texas.

Sharing the mission of Defenders of Freedom at Thrive Summit

Anthony Smith MAJ (RET) sharing his incredible story and how Defenders of Freedom helped him in his recovery.  Thrive Mortgage met Anthony when they visited Synapse to see the incredible work they are doing for Veterans with TBI.  Anthony was going through the treatment at the time of their visit.

We were wonderfully embraced at the Thrive Summit!  Thank you!

Thrive employees at the summit were involved in team building activities that they earned points for in the competition.  The points were converted to dollars and a check presented to Defenders of Freedom the last day.  Humbling to be among so many patriots!

Carl going through some of the modalities during his treatment.  Carl served in the Army for 11 years as an Infantryman.  He served two tours in Iraq and one in Afghanistan.  Carl was awarded a Bronze Star with Valor, Purple Hear and Combat Infantryman Badge.  Carl said, "After two weeks at Synapse, I feel more like myself than I have since I first saw combat in Iraq in 2004."

Your partnership with us has allowed us to put 16 Veterans through treatment since January!!  It has been life changing for every one of them!!  Thank you so much for partnering with us.  You are helping to change the lives of our Veterans, and saving some!

Look at how your dollars changed Duberny's life!!
