Family Promise of Bergen County program

Family Promise Provides a Bridge to Self-Sufficiency


In 2020, the Family Promise sheltering network of congregations, serving working families experiencing homelessness, was forced to close due to the pandemic. In its place, the Bridge Network was developed, and continues to assist families on their road to stability and self-sufficiency.

Camp Lots-of-Fun 2023

Another Amazing Year at Camp Lots-of-Fun!


As summer comes to an end, so does another year of Camp Lots-of-Fun, Family Promise’s annual two-week day camp for children ages 5-12 who have experienced homelessness. In addition to welcoming many boys and girls from our own shelter and support programs, we once again invited children from the Center for Hope and Safety and Bergen County HEARTS Program.

Family Promise Youth Council kicks off a New Year


The Family Promise Youth Council is looking forward to another exciting year of service and friendship. All high school students in Bergen County are eligible to participate. The first meeting will be held on September 18 at the Church of the Savior, 643 Forest Avenue, Paramus at 7 PM. Please note the change in location.

Having reliable transportation is an absolute game-changer for a formerly homeless family. If you have a car that you no longer use and is in good working order, please consider donating it to Family Promise.
