Spring is finally here!
May/June 2021
Letter from Kate

First, I’d like to thank everyone who participated in the Hike for Hope for Family Promise. The event was held virtually due to restrictions on the number of people who could gather in the park, yet even a pandemic could not stop our supporters from coming out for families experiencing homelessness.

Are you or someone you know homeless or behind on the rent?
Family Promise is here to help. Learn how.

A Special Thank You to West Side Presbyterian Church

When Associate Pastor Penny Hogan from West Side Presbyterian Church in Ridgewood contacted Kate to let her know that their Mission Committee had chosen to make Family Promise the focus of their Lenten Mission Campaign, she was understandably delighted.

Resiliency Workshop Series

Family Promise has added a six-part resiliency workshop series, facilitated by Danielle Craig of Empowering U Programs, to its collection of strength building workshops for families. “Part 1 of the series showed such promise. Families were engaged and allowed themselves to be open and vulnerable with one another, which was just such a powerful thing to witness,” stated Cynthia, one of our Family Case Managers.
