Fall Block Party - Looking for VOLUNTEERS

Our neighborhood's annual Fall Block Party takes place on Saturday, November 8th. This is a festival of friends, fun, funky music, and fine dining selections.


Interested in helping? You can sign up for any of these:

285 Eastside Expansion - See the Proposal and Comment

The Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) proposes the addition of Express Lanes on the eastern side of the Perimeter. This is a continuation of the extensive work that GDOT has already completed on the top end of 285 in recent years.

The proposed I-285 Eastside Express Lanes project will improve mobility on the eastern portion of I-285 in metro Atlanta and will connect to the Georgia Express Lanes network. More than 200,000 vehicles travel this section of I-285 each weekday.

The Department will offer a series of community meetings over the next month where neighbors can find out more. In addition to the in-person meetings, residents can visit an online "virtual meeting" accessed via the web page linked above.


You may provide feedback at the meetings or online.

After reviewing the information, you may take the opportunity to tell GDOT what you think of the proposed project. All comments will become part of the project’s official record.


If you are attending the in-person open house, you can provide your comments by filling out the comment card included with this handout or by utilizing one of the tablets available on the comment table. You may also choose to provide your verbal comments to a court reporter who will transcribe your comments.


You can also provide your comments no later than November 20, 2025, by using any of the following methods:
