A couple weeks ago Harry Ferguson, a long-time volunteer and supporter of Family Promise, told Kate and me that he wanted to introduce us to some friends of his who might be interested in financially supporting our organization.

Englewood apartment completed
The wait is over!

For two years, we have been working with members of St. Paul's Episcopal Church, city administrators, and dedicated Family Promise volunteers to complete the latest transitional apartment located in Englewood.  It really does "take a village" to complete a project such as this.

School's out for summer! Most kids are relaxing at home or attending summer camp. But for children who are homeless, summer is a little different when you are living in a shelter.

At their annual gala, the YWCA honored Family Promise trustee, Ellen Rafferty, as A Woman of Action.  According to the program, a Woman of Action is a woman whose problem-solving, drive, and spirit are unstoppable regardless of the challenge.  This describes Ellen to a tee.

Golf Outing Success!

The 20th Annual Family Promise Golf Outing was held on Tuesday, June 11, 2019 and was a great success! The weather was perfect as 83 golfers enjoyed a day on the beautiful course at Edgewood Country Club in support of Family Promise.


M&T Bank continues support of Family Promise bus

For the third year in a row, M&T Bank is supporting one of the most critical links in Family Promise's mission to help homeless working families with children - the bus that transports the parents and children enrolled in our sheltering network.

Save the Date! Family Promise Annual Gala

The Family Promise Annual Gala will be held on Wednesday, October 30, 2019 at the Indian Trail Club in Franklin Lakes.

Tickets will be available online later this summer, but you can call the office to purchase tickets at any time. Tickets are $150 per person and $1,250 for a table of 10. Sponsorships and journal ads are available; please contact jhe@bergenfamilypromise.org for details. Hope to see you there!
