There's lots going on at Life Realized, and at The Dearborn Center. Here's a brief rundown. For full details about any class or event, please copy/paste the "This Event" link found with most events, or just cruise our Events or Class Registrations calendars at:

There is no parking at The Dearborn Center. Please use public parking along W. Dearborn St., or in the public lot behind Comadres Mexican Restaurant (the purple place across the street from The Dearborn Center.)

Art Journaling - Art journaling is a way to express your thoughts, ideas and feelings in a creative way, as well as being a stress reliever. Join us and indulge yourself with time to play and create colorful art journal pages.

Adult Intro To Art - Have you always wanted to try different art forms but didn’t know where to start? In Adult Into To Art you will get the chance to use a variety of materials, and learn art concepts and techniques to satisfy your creative yearnings. Five stand-alone classes on varied topics. Take one or all five.

Open Mic Night Mondays - For musicians, a great opportunity to play in front of a non-judgmental audience. Try new material, find spontaneous collaborations, have fun. For you the audience, discover the amazing musical talent that lives in your Community. All are welcome. Picking up where we left off...

This is a BYO (Bring Your Own) Event: Chair, food, and beverages

Thursday Farmers Market - A smaller, easier-to-navigate Farmers Market. Fresh produce from Mr. C's, a variety of unique vendors, and food trucks. Offering an alternative over an extended season.

Sunday Farmers Market - A Farmers Market on the weekends, year round, rain or shine. Featuring fresh produce from Mr. C's, fresh seafood from The Shrimp Man (and not just shrimp), a variety of unique vendors and food trucks plus live music weekly.

Aprons: The Ties That Bind; An Historical Museum Exhibit -Take a nostalgic trip through time in this unique exhibit featuring over 75 aprons, from the 1940's through contemporary times. From practical to whimsical, from mass produced to hand-stitched, learn the trends, histories, and stories behind aprons. Add your own memories on the “My Apron Story” board.

Cost: $2.00 admission at the door; no advance ticketing; all proceeds benefit Life Realized.

Transformative Wellness Course For You - The Caretaker - This is a six-session, twice-a-month, class series.

Basics of Fermentation - Come learn the Basics of Fermentation with Jillian Ross, "The Ferment Lady", and how to incorporate traditional nutrient-rich food and beverages into your life.

Sauerkraut; A Hands-On Workshop - In this hands-on workshop, Jillian Ross, "The Ferment Lady", focuses solely on the preparation of fermenting various types of cabbage into traditional Sauerkraut.

Homebrewing Kombucha - This workshop will cover how to get started brewing your own kombucha, issues and troubleshooting. Each attendee will take home a container with starter culture.

Englewood Opry - The Sidemen, Classic Country Band, and The Gulf Coast Breeze Bluegrass Band make The Dearborn Center their new home this season and for a long time to come. Thursdays, 5:30pm - 8:30pm, starting December 3rd, 2020 through April 15, 2021, come listen to these very popular and talented musicians play. This is free event. It is a BYO (Bring Your Own) Event: Chair, food, and beverages. (We're working on changing that...)

Poetry Slam - starts in December, 2020, specific date is TBD. A weekly open mic for poetry. If you're thinking about, or would like to participate, please call Judi at 941-681-8188 or email admin@liferealized.org. Thanks!

Your one-time sponsorship investment of $350.00 in our vision for The Dearborn Center and our Community will allow us to purchase (wholesale) an 8’ folding table and set of eight (8) chairs, suitable for any class or event.

We will put your name (or Company name and/or logo) on the backs of each chair, thanking you, or your business, at every class and event held at The Dearborn Center from this point forward.

Your Company name/logo will be within a 15”W x 3”H area. And, we will add your name, or your Company’s logo and full contact information, to our Sponsors page to be added to our website, and to our Sponsors Board displayed in The Dearborn Center.
