Englewood, FL 34233
All classes and events are held in a 2,000 sq. ft. open classroom space, with a COVID-19 seating-compliant capacity of 45 persons. Most classes have fewer than 20 attendees.
There is no parking at The Dearborn Center. Please use public parking along W. Dearborn St., or in the public lot behind Comadres Mexican Restaurant (the purple place across the street from The Dearborn Center.)

Art Journaling - Art journaling is a way to express your thoughts, ideas and feelings in a creative way, as well as being a stress reliever. Join us and indulge yourself with time to play and create colorful art journal pages.

Adult Intro To Art - Have you always wanted to try different art forms but didn’t know where to start? In Adult Into To Art you will get the chance to use a variety of materials, and learn art concepts and techniques to satisfy your creative yearnings. Five stand-alone classes on varied topics. Aprons: The Ties That Bind; An Historical Museum Exhibit -Take a nostalgic trip through time in this unique exhibit featuring over 75 aprons, from the 1940's through contemporary times. From practical to whimsical, from mass produced to hand-stitched, learn the trends, histories, and stories behind aprons. Add your own memories on the “My Apron Story” board.

Transformative Wellness Course For You - The Caretaker - This is a six-session, twice-a-month, class series.
Learn how to transform your life by taking care of yourself.
Whether you are a Caretaker of someone else or not, you will benefit from the personally-specific tools and proven fun and easy self-care techniques that will transform your health and wellness. Class topics include an Introduction, Sleep, Movement, Relationships, Connection, and Nutrition. Adults of all ages are welcome.

Englewood Opry - The Sidemen, Classic Country Band, and The Gulf Coast Breeze Bluegrass Band make The Dearborn Center their new home this season and for a long time to come. Thursdays, 5:30pm - 8:30pm, starting December 3rd, 2020 through April 15, 2021, come listen to these very popular and talented musicians play. This is free event. It is a BYO (Bring Your Own) Event: Chair, food, and beverages. (We're working on changing that...)
