Great Hearts College Symposium

Dear Junior Students and Parents,

Please join us for the twelfth annual Great Hearts Symposium on Saturday, October 19th from 9:30 am – 11:30 am at Scottsdale Preparatory Academy.

By attending the Symposium, Juniors will be able to interact with over 70 college representatives from across the country. The event is an opportunity for students to go beyond the general information and ask questions unique to their interests and situation.

To make the most out of student's time talking with reps, we highly recommend that each student come prepared with information cards, filled out before the event. We strongly advise students to bring a minimum of 25 student information cards to the Symposium to provide to the college reps. Please see attachment (located at the bottom of this email) to access the student information card form.

In addition to the college fair, parents are encouraged to attend a presentation by Adam Webster, Senior Associate Dean and Director of Recruitment and Alumni Engagement at Carleton College. Mr. Webster will focus on how to help your students in preparing, planning, and navigating the college application process. In the past, Mr. Webster has presented to Great Hearts parents, and by popular demand, we are thrilled he will be joining us again this year.

To provide the best experience for all, please be aware of the following:

The Symposium is exclusively for only Great Hearts Juniors and their parents All Juniors are required to wear their uniform to be allowed into the event, no exceptions!

Entrances to the event are located at both the East and West side of the building Parking is available at both Scottsdale Archway and Scottsdale Preparatory (address provided below)

If you plan to attend the Symposium, please RSVP

We look forward to seeing you there! If you have any questions, please see your college counselor.

Winter Concert Update

Due to the large numbers of students enrolled in Music and Choir this year, along with the desire to have receptions post-performance, The Fine Arts Department, in conjunction with NPX administration, have decided to change the date of the High School and Honors Choir Winter Concert to Wednesday, December 11, 2019 at 6:00 p.m. at Calvary North Church Call time for ALL students is 5:00pm at the church.  This concert will be for 9th and 10th grade Choir, as well as the Middle School & Honors Choirs.
