Remote Learning

Dear North Phoenix Families,
All remote learning packets are now available. We encourage all families to access packets electronically whenever possible, as it is the safest, most convenient way to access remote instruction. Our teachers are aware that students may not have notes or books and have planned accordingly. Each packet has all the content that your student will need. We are working hard to minimize the number of pages you will need to print while also including the reference material needed to complete work at home. Color ink is not necessary.
Paper packet pick-up for families who previously indicated that they need a hard copy
will be on Monday, March 30th during the following windows:

7:30-9:00 a.m., 11:00-1:00 p.m., and 3:00-4:30 p.m.

All packets (Archway and Prep) can be picked up on the north side of campus to ease the process for families with children on both campuses.
If there is a line of cars when you enter campus, please queue around the field as you would for Archway drop-off.
There will be no parking, and the front office will be closed because we are not
accepting visitors at this time. Students and/or parents will not be allowed to
access the school for books, notebooks, or other items. If you have
specific questions regarding your child's work, please email their teacher.

*Middle school packets will be separated by Fine Arts (i.e. 7th grade packet/Music and 7th grade packet/Art).

*High school packets will be separated by Humane Letters teacher and will include both Fine Arts. Language packets will need to be downloaded separately. Students need only
complete the coursework for courses in which they are currently enrolled.
In the coming weeks, we will begin sending our students assignments through Google
Classroom instead of in packet form. Families who have no or limited access to
technology will have continued access to packets.
We appreciate your flexibility and your commitment to our academy during this
unique time.

A Message from Mr. Black

Prom Announcement

Dear North Phoenix Prep Community,

I hope that this letter finds everyone well and practicing good social distancing. My family is doing fine, even as we try to find a new norm or flow going forward in these uncertain times. I have been enjoying having a less structured day and have been working in my studio on my own artwork, which has been a wonderful silver lining.

I do miss all my students and fellow faculty members and hope to see everyone soon.
The purpose of this email is to let you know that we have made the decision to cancel the Junior/Senior Prom this year.  I will be working with our vendors to get back deposits or have them held until a future date. Our Senators worked incredibly hard to put this prom together. We raised money with our sweatshirt sales as well as revenue from our other socials and dances and were looking forward to bringing NPX one amazing experience. Thank you to all our Senators for their hard work and dedication to our school and special thanks to our 11th grade Senators who were organizing Prom for us.

I know this is terribly disappointing and that Prom is milestone in many people’s lives. As this virus becomes contained and we are able to rejoin our community, we will find other ways in which we can celebrate with our 11th and 12th grade class.
I am wishing everyone good health and social distancing.

Bruce Black

Parents: The office staff appreciates you and all your patience during this uncertain time with school closures. The Enrollment Team has been diligently following all updates and working on the easiest plan to complete re-enrollment for the 2020-21 school year.

With this note, the 2020-21 re-enrollment packets will transition to an online format which includes e-signing for all families. This is the fastest way for families to submit their intent to return or withdrawal for next year without adding more stress to an already stressful time.

Families who have not completed re-enrollment for the 2020-2021 school year will be receiving an email communication from Great Hearts lead office. Please check your email inbox (including junk/spam) for updates and information.
