October NEWS & UPDATES
Greetings from Project Safeguard!

It's been awhile since we've been in touch, so we wanted to share some of what we've been up to. As we wrap up October, we also want to acknowledge Domestic Violence Awareness Month. Project Safeguard provides services to survivors of domestic violence all year long and this month our Executive Director, Jennifer Eyl, has been busy doing media interviews, speaking at events, and providing training to community partners. You can learn more about all the things we've been up on our social media channels.
Read our 2021 Annual Report
For the first time in several years, we had the capacity to create an annual report! It took a bit longer than we expected, but better late than never, right? The last few years have been challenging in so many ways and we're excited to share how we navigated uncertainty and what we learned along the way.
Congratulations to Nancy Olson on her retirement!
Project Safeguard's Grants and Finance Director, Nancy Olson, is retiring next month! Prior to her current role, Nancy served as our Executive Director from 2013 through 2020 and has been a fixture in the Colorado nonprofit community for more than 25 years. Nancy spent nearly two decades working in domestic violence services at the local, state, and national level. This year, she was honored with a Purple Ribbon Award for Lifetime Achievement and we can't think of anyone more deserving. Nancy's last day with us will be November 18th.
She will be greatly missed but her contributions to Project Safeguard and this field will not be forgotten!
Give Where You Live on Colorado Gives Day!
For 24 hours on December 6, Colorado will come together to raise funds for local nonprofits, and we’re excited to be part of the day! Early giving begins November 1st and we have a new and improved fundraising page. We invite you to join us by helping us share the news about Colorado Gives Day and invite your family, friends and your personal network to participate.
