NEWS & UPDATES
Wishing you and yours safe and happy holidays!
Project Safeguard will be closed December 19th through January 2nd to give our staff time to rest and care for themselves. We will return to the office on January 3rd.
Staff emails and voicemails will not be monitored and we will respond as soon as possible once we are back in the office.

Anyone needing resources or assistance during this closure can reach out to the following agencies:
SafeHouse Denver (24/7 hotline for survivors of domestic violence): 303-318-9989

We are grateful for the support we received on Colorado Gives Day!
Thanks to the generosity of this community, we raised nearly $6,000 to support our work on behalf of survivors of gender-based violence! If you missed Colorado Gives Day and would still like to donate, you can do so any time of the year. Recurring monthly donations provide us with sustained funding and allow our supporters to split up a larger donation throughout the year. Visit our website to learn about all the ways you can contribute to our work. Below are a few easy ways that you may not be aware of to support Project Safeguard financially:
The King Soopers/City Market Community Rewards Program makes fundraising easy by donating to local organizations based on the shopping you do! Here’s how it works:

Login to your King Soopers or City Market account, click on Community Rewards, and search for Project Safeguard by name or use the code KQ344. Once you have linked your card, all you have to do is shop at King Soopers and swipe your Shopper’s Card!
AmazonSmile is a website that allows users to designate a charity for the AmazonSmile Foundation to donate 0.5% of the purchase price of eligible products to. You can designate Project Safeguard using the following steps:

Login to AmazonSmile with your Amazon username and password. Search for and select Project Safeguard using the charitable organization search box. Shop on Amazon through this link!
Many workplaces have programs that allow employees to give to a charity directly out of their paycheck and some employers will even match donations! If you have made or are planning to make a donation, ask your employer if they will match it.

If you work for the City and County of Denver, you can give to Project Safeguard through The Denver Employees Charitable Campaign.
